For Educators

Day.

Teachers put a lot of time and effort into their lessons. Having a student athlete miss a day or leave early can be disruptive to all students. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

At Athlete Centered Learning, we recognize that teachers, principals, and guidance counselors are an important part of a student athlete’s life. We all want to inspire a lifelong love of learning. Particularly for young athletes, we want to support their education so they are prepared to learn, communicate, reflect, and train. We don’t want there to be an antagonistic relationship between parents, athlete, coaches, and educators.

We want young athletes to have a lifelong love of learning, of school, and to be inspired learners. Unfortunately, school can seem like a thing that can get in the way. This is not the impression we want young student athletes to have!

Working together, we can ensure that a young student athlete doesn’t feel pulled between their parents, teachers, and coaches. Rather, they feel support from all sides to succeed.
