Meet our inaugural board!

Dr. Jonathan Blake Huer
President and co-founder
Dr. Jonathan Blake Huer is an educational technology advocate who’s won awards as educator, innovator, app developer, and filmmaker. He is a recognized thought leader having worked in traditional higher education and the edtech startup world. One program he built, the Digital Corps, achieved a 100% employment rate for graduates during the 5 years he ran the program. He is also a former competitive figure skater and worked for UCLA Athletics as the Adidas sponsored intern.

Garrett Lucash
Vice President and co-founder
Garrett Lucash is a coach with the legendary Skating Club of Boston and founder of Athlete Centered Skating. He is the 2005 National Pairs Champion, a 3 time world team member, 2 time Olympic team alternate, and the first ever to complete a throw triple flip. Garrett also toured internationally with Champions on Ice and Stars on Ice prior to starting his coaching career.

Michael Brutout
Treasurer
Michael Brutout is a Senior Accountant at Blue & Co, LLC in Carmel, Indiana. He specializes in closely held businesses and has over 7 years of experience in the not-for-profit world having served on 3 different not-for-profit boards. Michael is a practicing Certified Public Accountant and earned his Bachelors degree from Ball State University. He is also an avid hockey player.

Rico Tsujimoto
Board Member
Rico Tsujimoto is an award-winning Special Education teacher at Highland Middle School in Anderson, Indiana. She has dedicated her life to empowering her students to be independent, of good character, and to advocate for themselves. Rico volunteers locally and works globally teaching English to children in China. She also enjoys walks with her three rescue dogs.
